Translation is not reproduction — it is an act of reading so close it can fuel an author’s own writing. In this session, led by Francesca Cricelli, we treat the translated word as raw material: a spark, a provocation, a door left ajar. Students don't need to know the source language to work with it. They can also pick their own pair of languages and adapt the methodology to their creative needs.

Welcome to a six-step journey into the world of multilingual poetics. Led by Ewa Marcinek together with Helen Hafgnýr Cova, Francesca Criccelli, and Natasha S., this course draws on our writing practices to offer tools for exploring and developing your poetic voice across languages. It understands multilingual poetics as both a writing practice and a lived experience that shapes how we think, feel, and create. Throughout the course, you will be invited to reflect on your own linguistic landscape and consider how the languages within and around you can become part of your creative practice.
