This course is designed as a basic toolkit to support your writing practice and your journey as a writer. It offers practical guidance for supporting your career, strengthening your sense of belonging and presence in the literary community, and accessing opportunities that can support your creative work.

 

In this course, you will learn how to:

✅ What is multilingual writing and the key challenges, opportunities, and recommendations for support for support of multilingual authors based on research in Denmark and Iceland.
 
✅ Navigate translation and self-translation of your work.  

✅ Build your presence in the literary scene through readings, publishing, self-publishing, networking, and creative collaborations.

✅ Strengthen your writing practice through community initiatives, grants, writing associations, residencies, and writing groups.

We will explore examples, information, and resources that can support your development as a writer. Each chapter invites you to map the opportunities available to you and to create strategies that fit your own work, goals, and creative practice — on your own terms.
