Exercises

  1. Write a rhyming poem. You can also choose an existing poem and reformulate it so that it rhymes.
  2. Choose a non-poetic text, divide it into lines, and read it with pauses as if it were a poem. From this reading, make the necessary changes to adapt it to that format without significantly altering its meaning.
  3. Choose a poem. Select the words that begin with a certain letter. Read it silently, pronouncing only the selected words aloud.
  4. Choose any text. Divide it into lines and select those that represent the essence of the content. Read them aloud, repeating the selected lines.
  5. Choose any text. Select words whose meaning can be associated with a sound (rain, wind, motorcycle, kiss, factory, etc.). Read it, replacing those words with the corresponding sound. You can use your voice or other instruments, formal or improvised.
